Before making California her home, Pastor Kendra served with distinction as the Executive Director of the Christian Life Child Development Center and held a seat on the Board of Directors for Michigan’s statewide Toys for Tots program. An alumna of Purdue University, she majored in marketing—laying a strong foundation for the visionary leadership she would later bring to ministry and community development. Together with her husband, she served as a Youth Pastor, nurturing a thriving teen ministry that grew to more than 1,000 young people gathering weekly. Her heart for service and strategic leadership also contributed to the launch of a nonprofit organization that secured a $2 million grant to support single mothers—an accomplishment that continues to impact families today. On February 1, 2009, Pastors Kendra and Mark founded Abundant Living Family Church High Desert, a ministry with a clear and powerful mission: Passion for God, Compassion for People. Their work has transformed the High Desert community through outreach initiatives, justice-system partnerships, and compassion teams that have served more than 68,000 individuals. Their reach extends globally as well, through mission partnerships in India, Uganda, and Mexico. Pastor Kendra is also the founder of God’s Phenomenal Woman (GPW)—a movement dedicated to empowering women to rise, lead, and impact their families and communities. With an unwavering commitment to seeing women and young girls achieve their God-given potential, she devotes her life to championing those who are often overlooked or underserved, both locally and around the world. Her vision is for every woman to discover, embrace, and sustain her divine purpose. A sought-after speaker, Pastor Kendra travels throughout the United States and internationally, leading ministry conferences, personal development trainings, seminars, and motivational events. She and her husband have authored four influential books: Urban Youth Download, Followship, The Present: Discovering a Mate God’s Way, and Who Am I and Why? Above all her accomplishments, Pastor Kendra treasures her role as mother to four extraordinary children—Adrianne, Warren, Armani & Mykaela—she is a grandmother to seven beautiful grandchildren: Alana, Ashtyn, Autumn, Warren III, Avery, Armani II, Lennox, Layla, Cyrus & Isaiah .
